If you're looking to get back into tennis, or have always wanted to play but never found the right group to join, then why not consider joining the Amazon Social Tennis Group. Depending on the season, Amazon Tennis hosts a mix of weekly, monthly or fortnightly social tennis sessions. We normally organise them for a Sunday morning from 10:00am - 12:00noon and the format is mixed doubles.

Everyone is welcome but you'll need to sign up to our mailing list or check the calendar for scheduled social tennis sessions. Social tennis is a great way to stay fit and active whilst making new friends.

WHEN: Sundays from 10:00am - 12:00pm and some occasional Saturday afternoons from 3:00 - 5:00pm. You need to be on our mailing list to know about the alternating dates or check the website calendar regularly. Please join by emailing us at info@amazontennis.org 

WHERE: Currently at Cintra Park Tennis Courts, Gipps Rd, Concord (previously Camperdown Tennis Courts but they are currently under construction till March 2010)

COST: $10 members / $15 non-members/casual visitors (price is per person, includes court hire and balls)

BRING: Yourself and your tennis racquet

STANDARD: It's a mix from beginners to advanced.

RSVP/MORE INFO: If you're interested in playing, please email Jan or Tuey at, info@amazontennis.org to RSVP your attendance. This gives us an indication as to how many courts need to be hired for the day. Plus you can sign up at social tennis to become a member.
